Credits, licensing, and why it is irreversible
A license binds permanently to one engine controller. That single fact is why this sale is final.
What a credit is
Credits are the licensing currency of the calibration platform we work on. Applying credits to your vehicle buys the right to write to that specific ECM. Different vehicles cost different numbers of credits — the figure is printed on every vehicle page before you reach checkout.
Why it cannot be undone
Once credits are applied, they are consumed and bound to that controller. They cannot be recovered, transferred to another vehicle, resold, or refunded — not by us, and not by the platform vendor. Replace the ECM and the license does not follow it.
This is not a policy we chose in order to be difficult. It is the mechanism the licensing works on, and it is the direct legal basis for our no-returns policy. We state it before payment, on the product page and again at checkout, because a policy disclosed after the fact is not a policy at all.

What you should check first
Confirm the vehicle, the engine and the ECM before you order. If you are unsure which controller your vehicle has, call us with the VIN and we will identify it. Two minutes on the phone is cheaper than a license applied to the wrong module.
