Who this is about

This site is operated by FastUTV LLC, a California limited liability company doing business as DEFI Motorsports, at 160 Vander St, Ste D, Corona, CA 92878.

What we collect

Only what a job actually needs:

• Contact details — your name, email address and phone number, when you enquire, book or order.
• Vehicle details — year, make, model, engine, transmission and the modifications you declare.
• Your VIN, on orders where a controller is being unlocked. A licence binds permanently to one ECM, so the VIN is how we confirm the right one before a licence is consumed.
• Order and billing details — what you bought, what you paid, and the billing and shipping addresses you gave.
• Your acknowledgements — which version of our terms you accepted, and the date and time you accepted them.
• Marketing consent, if you opt in — the wording you were shown, its version, and when you ticked the box.

Where it actually lives

This website has no customer database. That is a deliberate design decision and it limits what can be lost. Your information lives in the systems that do the work:

• Stripe — payment processing. Card numbers are entered on Stripe’s own checkout and never reach this website or our systems.
• HubSpot — our customer record: contact, order, line items and consent record.
• Resend — sends the emails you receive from us and the shop’s copy of your order.
• Vercel — hosts this website and keeps ordinary server logs.
• Peek Pro — the booking system, if you book dyno time.
• RingCentral — our phone and text messaging. Calls and text messages to and from the shop pass through it, and it holds the record of any message we exchange with you.
• Google Analytics and Search Console — anonymous traffic measurement, where enabled.

Your cart is on your own device

Items you add to the cart are stored in your browser and expire after 30 days. They are not sent anywhere until you check out. Clearing your browser data clears your cart, and we have no copy of it.

What we do not do

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We do not buy lists, and we do not add you to marketing email or marketing text messages because you bought something — marketing of either kind requires a separate, deliberate opt-in. A phone number you give us for an order is used to reach you about that order.

Your choices

Whether or not the California Consumer Privacy Act applies to a business our size, we will honour these requests from anyone who asks:

• Know what we hold about you, and why.
• Get a copy of it.
• Correct anything that is wrong.
• Have it deleted, except where we must keep a record of a completed transaction.
• Stop marketing email at any time, with no effect on messages about an order.

How long we keep it

Order and payment records are kept for as long as the law requires us to keep records of a sale, and because a licence bound to your ECM may need to be identified years later.

Enquiries that never became orders, and marketing subscriptions after you unsubscribe, are removed on request. Ask and we will do it.

Children

This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
