About Link ECU
Link makes two kinds of ECU. Wire-in units — the G4X XtremeX for up to eight cylinders, the FuryX for up to six, and the G5 Voodoo Neo 6 and Pro — need a harness built for the car. Plug-ins replace the factory ECU and use the factory harness, so nothing is rewired.
The plug-ins here fit the Nissan Skyline R32/R33/R34 GT-R, the 350Z and G35 with the VQ35DE, the S15 SR20, and the A80 Supra 2JZ (non-VVTi) — the platforms drift and track cars are built on.
Questions before you buy
- Do I want a Link plug-in or a wire-in ECU?
- If one of the plug-ins is made for your car, it is the simplest route: it plugs into the factory harness. A wire-in unit suits swaps, race cars and anything the plug-ins do not cover.
- Can you install and tune a Link ECU ECU?
- Yes. We install, wire and calibrate Link ECU engine management in our Corona shop and tune it on a Mainline ProHub hub dyno, with the full sheet at the end. Shop labor is quoted against your car.
- Can I return a Link ECU ECU?
- No. There are no returns or exchanges on third-party hardware once it ships, and the manufacturer’s warranty is the warranty. Call before you order if you are not sure which unit fits.
