What you are buying
Access to the people who tune the car, when you need them. Something starts running badly at the track, a sensor drops out, the car is down on boost at altitude, or you have added a part and need it accounted for. You call, send the log, and we work it.
Prepay a 3-hour bank for $999 and draw on it whenever you call, or pay $350 an hour on demand. Time is billed in whole hours: a 48-minute job is an hour, and the rest of the bank is there for the next one.
How it works from the track
On a DEFI RTD4, you log from your phone and sync the file; we read it, and where the fix is calibration we send the revision back to the same device. You flash it in the pits. No laptop.
On a standalone ECU or your own laptop and interface, we can connect remotely and work on the car live while you drive it, over a decent cell connection.
Some problems are mechanical, and no revision fixes a broken part. When that is what the data shows, we say so and tell you what to look for, rather than tuning around a fault.

Reaching us
Book the day in advance when you can — a track day on the calendar gets someone watching the phone. On-demand calls are answered when a calibrator is available; we do not promise an answer at any hour, and we will tell you the hours we are covering when you book.

Common questions
- Does the bank expire?
- Tell us your track dates when you buy it and we will hold the time for them. Ask us when you call if you want to plan a season around it.
- Do I need to have been tuned by DEFI?
- Not for a log review or a diagnosis. To send a revision back to the car, we need to be the tuner on it — on HP Tuners that means a DEFI calibration on your RTD4.
- What if the problem is not the tune?
- Then we tell you, and the time is spent finding that out. A revision that hides a mechanical fault is how engines get hurt at the track.
