Each vehicle has a starting price that already carries the interface, the license and the calibration. Fuel and forced induction change it, and both are priced in front of you before you order — nothing arrives as a second invoice.

Every one of these can ship to you or be done on our dyno in Corona — that is your choice, not the product's. Each vehicle has one page, with the complete price and what it includes stated before checkout.

Add-ons
Priced separately, added to the work
None of these is sold on its own. Each one attaches to a calibration or to a booked session, and each says which.
Universal Credits
$49.99
Added to a calibration order
One credit. The unit every calibration license is bought in.
A credit is what licenses a calibration to one engine controller. Vehicles consume between two and ten of them depending on the platform and how many modules are being written — the number is on every vehicle page, and the credits your vehicle needs are already inside its price. This line is for adding credits to an order, not for buying a tune.
How licensing worksECU Unlock
Quoted per ECM
Performed as part of your tune
Opening a locked controller so a calibration can be written to it.
Many later controllers are locked from the factory and nothing can be written to them — by us or by anyone — until that protection is removed. It is a physical service performed on the module, and the figure depends on the specific ECM, so it is quoted against your part number rather than listed. We perform it as part of the tune that needs it; we do not sell it on its own for another shop to calibrate.
How unlocking worksDyno Testing — 1 hour
$350
Added to a booked session
An hour on the hubs. Three pulls and the full sheet.
Measurement without calibration — a baseline before a build, a verification of what a previous shop delivered, or a check that a part did what it claimed. Ambient conditions are logged on every run and the correction standard is printed on the sheet you leave with. Added to a booked session, or booked as its own hour on the hubs.
Dyno testingC8 Z06 Flame Tune
$300
Requires a DEFI calibration on the car
An exhaust calibration for the LT6. Sound, not power.
An addition to a C8 Z06 calibration we have written — it is not sold on its own and it cannot be applied to someone else’s tune. It alters overrun and shift fuelling to produce flame on lift and downshift. It does not add power, it costs fuel economy, and it is for off-road and competition use — like everything else here, it is sold with the trade-off stated.
C8 Z06 tuningTuning for Magnuson Supercharger
$1,899.99
Booked as a dyno session · DEFI RTD4 included
Calibration for a Magnuson-blown engine, developed on the dyno.
A supercharger kit ships with a starting file, not a calibration for your car. This is the real one: fuelling, spark, torque management and boost behavior developed under load with knock, intake air temperature and lambda watched on every pass. Forced induction is where a bad tune stops being a disappointment and starts being an engine. The DEFI RTD4 the calibration is delivered on is included, and yours to keep for revisions.

$80per 5-gallon pail
Collected in Corona — never shippedIn-shop
E85, E90 and E98. Collected at the shop — we cannot ship fuel.
The ethanol blends we calibrate on, sold over the counter in Corona by the pail or by the drum. Ethanol fuel is a regulated flammable liquid and it cannot travel as an ordinary parcel at any price, so this one is collection only — buy it when you drop the car off, or on the day of your session.
About Ignite fuelFuel we calibrate on
E85, E90 and E98
We tune on Ignite Racing Fuel, and we keep all three ethanol blends at the shop. Most shops in this region will write you a pump-gas map and stop there, because calibrating on ethanol means having the fuel on hand to verify against — not just the intent to run it.
Higher ethanol is the most knock resistance you can buy and it cools the charge as it evaporates, which is what makes the timing possible. It also costs economy and asks more of the fuel system, and we will say so before you commit to it.
Ignite Racing Fuel
In-shopSold over the counter in Corona by the 5-gallon pail. We cannot ship it — fuel is a hazardous material and it does not travel to a doorstep — so pick it up when you drop the car off.

What arrives
The device your calibration comes on
A DEFI RTD4, boxed and shipped. It plugs into the diagnostic port, flashes your ECM, logs data back to us, and stays with you for every revision after.
The device is not optional. Every DEFI calibration is delivered on the RTD4 sold with it: the file travels encrypted and the ECU is written locked, so the tune cannot be read back off the car and copied. There is no file-only version, and no credit for an interface bought elsewhere. Why every tune ships on an RTD4

How you pay
Card payments are handled by Stripe — we never see your card details — and every figure is rebuilt on our server from the catalog before the payment page opens, so the charge is the number the page showed you. You can still call and order by phone.
Every price is built the same way: DEFI Custom Tuning, the DEFI RTD4, the HP Tuners licensing your controller needs, and any ECM unlock or adapter cable it cannot run without. The figures live in pricing_config.py and are checked against every page by the test suite, so the catalog and the checkout can never quote different numbers.
