Built for the tune it is going to run
Fabrication for a performance car is not only about fit. Charge piping that leaks at boost, an intake that pulls hot air, or an exhaust that chokes the turbo all cost power we would then be asked to find in the calibration. We scope the job against the target, and the dyno sheet afterwards shows whether it worked.

How it is priced
Fabrication is shop labor at $265 an hour plus materials, quoted against the car before work starts. Send photos with the request where you can: they are the difference between a quote and a guess.

- Do you quote from photos?
- Photos and a description get you a first estimate. The quote is confirmed once we have seen the car.
- How much does it cost?
- Shop labor is $265 an hour plus materials, quoted against your car before work starts.
- Can you tune the car after the fabrication?
- Yes, and that is the point: the dyno is where the work is proved. The calibration is priced on its own page.
- Is a modified exhaust smog-legal in California?
- Removing or altering emissions equipment is not legal on a road car in California. Exhaust and piping work here is for off-road and competition use.
